Description:
In November 1941, a young student, Murakami Masaki, is sent to the "Black Cat Mansion," located in the middle of nowhere among the mountains. He answered an ad that offered him a job at the mansion. The offer is very tempting, 3,000 yen and fringe benefits, but it means leaving Tokyo for the winter. The mansion is inhabited by Saeko, the landlady, her daughter Alice, and the maid Aya. Murakami's main duty, it turns out, is to provide sexual pleasures to the inhabitants of this mansion. But the longer he stays here, the worse he gets. He grows weaker, his consciousness dims, and he cannot think about anything else. Eventually Aya explains to him what is going on here and encourages him to escape. Some time later, Murakami sees next to a large article about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor a small note that the "Black Cat Mansion" has burned to the ground and its inhabitants are missing.
